Lawnsy Terms of Use

Effective date: October 9, 2026 · Version: 2026-10-09

These Terms govern use of the Lawnsy and Lawnsy Worker apps, operated by Hard2Simple.com LLC (“Lawnsy,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using either app, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines.

1. What Lawnsy does

Lawnsy helps customers discover independent lawn-care providers, request appointments, and manage booking status. Providers are independent businesses and are not Lawnsy employees, agents, or contractors. Lawnsy does not perform lawn-care work, inspect every provider, guarantee availability, or guarantee a result.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and promptly tell us if your account is used without permission. You are responsible for activity under your account. Use Lawnsy only where you may legally enter into these Terms.

3. Bookings, custom offers, and payment

Providers set their listed service descriptions, prices, durations, service areas, and availability. A direct appointment may be confirmed immediately if the provider has enabled automatic confirmation; otherwise it remains pending until the provider accepts it. For work needing a custom scope or price, customers can post a project and accept a provider's offer. The app records the agreed service details, address, date, price, and payment and cancellation terms when a booking is made. Customers and providers should confirm access arrangements, weather-related changes, and any details outside the recorded scope directly. Cancel in Lawnsy before work begins and notify the other party. Any separately agreed cancellation charges or refunds are handled directly between the customer and provider. Customers pay providers directly; Lawnsy does not collect or hold payments in this release. A booking in Lawnsy is not a payment receipt.

4. Providers and services

Providers are responsible for their business credentials, lawful operations, accurate listings and prices, service capacity, any licenses or insurance required where they work, and fulfilling confirmed appointments. Providers must not list work they cannot lawfully perform. Provider tools are free in this release; any future paid plan will be communicated separately before it takes effect.

5. Location

Nearby search uses a customer’s approximate location only after the customer asks to search nearby; that search location is used for matching and is not saved to the customer profile. A provider may opt in to set an approximate service-area center. That point is kept private and used with the provider’s selected service radius for matching. Device location access is optional; manual browsing remains available.

6. Reviews, listings, and other contributions

You retain ownership of content you submit and grant Lawnsy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and distribute it as needed to operate and promote the service. You must have permission to submit every name, photograph, review, and other material. Do not submit unlawful, deceptive, abusive, discriminatory, threatening, unsafe, infringing, or irrelevant content, including reviews for work you did not receive.

7. Reports, blocks, and enforcement

You can report a provider, review, or account in the app and block another account. Submitted reports are stored for review. We may investigate reports, remove content, limit features, or suspend accounts when needed to protect users or comply with law. Contact help@lawnsy.net for safety or account concerns.

8. Privacy and account deletion

Our Privacy Policy explains the data Lawnsy handles. You may start account deletion from Account Settings in the app or at lawnsy.app/delete-account. Some records may be retained when required by law or necessary to resolve a safety, fraud, or service dispute; we will explain any applicable retention.

9. Availability and disclaimers

Lawnsy is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We may change or suspend features. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant uninterrupted access or the conduct, qualifications, availability, quality, or results of independent providers.

10. Liability and disputes

These Terms do not specify Lawnsy’s governing law, dispute-resolution process, liability limits, indemnity terms, or jurisdiction-specific consumer-rights provisions. Applicable law may provide rights that cannot be limited by these Terms. Contact help@lawnsy.net with questions.
